I was 14, mind you, when the words were written. If you listen, it's pretty much self-explanatory.

me and my friend, we went to the pet store
and we saw a mousy and we brought it home
it was in a yellow, I mean, a blue box with some holes on the side
and it had a chickadee on the side

and then I wondered it was doing there
since there was a mouse in the box instead of a bird
and look! it stuck it's butt up to the hole and left a turd
