Playing around with a few M7 chords. A love song about someone beautiful and equipped with a nice taste for tunes.

Draft or demo tracks for two great bands, an alternative rock one and a pop-punk cover one.
My name is Peep Warren. I'm fifteen years old, and I play bass for a pop-punk cover band called KFC (), as well as bass, auxiliary guitar, drums, and vocals for an alternative rock-marketed band called The new season has brought the influx of two new memberships. I now play guitar, as is my dream, for two other secondary school bands, and . I started playing guitar at twelve, bass at thirteen, and I've been singing for as long as I remember. Oh yeah, and I can do a mean harmonica. In my spare time, I record acoustic tracks as drafts or demos for band performance, and I can write some pretty okay songs, although not for the genre I listen to the most. Cheers and enjoy.

Story behind the song
A nice change. I was getting tired of the usual acoustic pop-rock. I remember being in a relaxed mood while riding in the car, and since my guitar happened to be riding along with me as well, I picked it up and guessed around a bit to try and emulate something that suited my good vibes. I had fun sequencing a couple of M7 chords and making a simple riff, and I eventually wrote down a few words to accompany it, and ended up recording it, like all the others. As for the name? Given at complete random. I couldn't think up a decent title (well, not like any of the titles I give to my songs ever come up right anyways), so I just decided to give it a number. I asked a friend to tell me the first number from 10 - 30 she could think of, and she said it was 23. Voila. Track #23. I am such a mentally scourged little guinea pig, aren't I?
Lyrics
Turn the volume up on the song I hear you playing It's caught my ears again and it's been beating in my head the whole day It reminds me of all the things I heard you say 'bout These are the days for us and how we're gonna blow the world away And oh, tonight you look so fine Oh, what I'll do to make you mine Oh, your voice will dance tonight because You are my love, I knew it when I heard you sing Let the music free you In this embroidered summer fling Come on and be my love Take a step behind the door You know that I can give you Everything you ask and more So come on, be my love Believe me when I say you should come out of the shadows You've got a flame that touches every part of my inner senses So use your voice around my lips and hit the notes down low And I can show you for what most of your music meant When it goes oh, tonight you sound so fine Oh, what I'll do to make you mine Oh, your voice will dance tonight because You are my love, I knew it when I heard you sing Let the music free you In this embroidered summer fling Come on and be my love Take a step behind the door You know that I can give you Everything you ask and more So come on, be my love
