A song I wrote for my oldest daughter, Jennifer, to sing to her at bedtime.

Folk/Country music and an excellent backup group.
Me (Jimmy Morgan): I have been playing guitar and singing since I was nine years old. My inspiration to play guitar and sing as a child was my family. The great support and love from my family has inspired me to write songs that come from the heart. My current CD "Jimmy Morgan, Life - Beginning to End" reflects my love for my wife, of twenty-one years, Thurma; my four children Jason, Jennifer, Kevin, and Emily; and my Mother, Lyla. Joel Martin: My friend and former neighbor, now has a house with a serious recording studio. Joel has been playing music for almost 34 years, he started taking piano lessons when he was six. He has studied music in college, and is proficient at many instruments. His forte is composing and arranging. Jason Stark: A dear friend of the family and an excellent volcalist, musician, and songwriter. Plays guitar, harmonica, brass horns, chello, and keyboard. He can play just about anything he picks-up. Elle Clark: Another friend with a beautiful voice. Elle is also a Musician and Songwriter. I'm so glad to have her as a part of the band.

Story behind the song
Jennifer always enjoyed me singing her to sleep, more so than my other kids. So I wrote this song special to sing to her at bedtime.
Lyrics
It's time to go to bed and lay down your sleepy head. Pull up the covers and close your eyes. You know I love you and good night. Oh, dream of nice things. Think of something fun. Oh, Dream of funny things. Like the cartoon that's your favorite one. And Jennifer good night. I'll leave on the Big Bird light. When you wake up, it'll be a bran new day, Another day to play. It's time to go to bed and lay down your sleepy head. Pull up the covers and close your eyes. You know I love you and good night. Oh, dream of happy things. Think of things you like. Oh, dream of toys and things. Some of your favorite ones. And Jennifer good night. I'll tuck you in real tight. Just go to sleep and soon it'll be a new day, Another day to play. And Jennifer good night. I'll leave on the Big Bird light. When you wake up it'll be a bran new day, Another day to play.
