Anna Fisher and Jawge Hughes present fresh new sounds. A fusion of reggae, hip-hop, jazz, r&b, classical and latin make this albums' songlist oustandingly class
Irie Greetings Massive, Anna Fisher here hailing you up from the Golden State, specifically Los Angeles. I'll be blunt, you need to take a listen to a cool sound that we're getting on an oboe and and English horn rubbing against the luscious keyboard stylings of, Jawge Hughes. When I first started taking lessons, the usual knee jerk response was, "What's an oboe?" although the savvy few with some degree of musical education would respond, "Gorgeous instrument the oboe, but it's one of the hardest instruments to play! What made you choose oboe?" and I usually respond, "Yes, hard, but I love the sound sooooooo much!" Listen to any classical symphony or opera and tell me the oboist's melodies aren't the most beautiful, well at least equally as gorgeous as the English horn or French horn's mournful and triumphant solos. But an orchestra is like any team and every member is interdependent. No one instrument is more or less important than another except for those who carry the most important solos and nail them flawlessly night after night! This comes with years of practice and commitment. Please listen closely, this music has lots of fresh ideas you're sure to appreciate. We felt it was time for something new that we weren't hearing out there and made a commitment to create this lifesong. So here we are and here's our sound. Please sign the message board with your ideas and if you think your friends will like it, pass it on. Please help us change the world, one heart at a time, right now! Thank you very much, Peace, One Love and Light, Anna Fisher

Story behind the song
This song has had so much significance in our lives. It's a great song done by the legendary Johnny Nash and the Fab 5 Band from Kingston, Jamaica and we wanted to give it a different flavor. It came to my head and turned my attitude around every single time I heard it and was discouraged. If I was happy already, it sends me into orbit! I only hope I did the original justice as I feel it is significant to the ideal of self-healing. The songs on, "Renaissance In Formation" were for my healing and they worked like magic so I just wanted to share with you a new "over the counter" prescription for positive thinking and perseverance to get to the next level of the world we choose to live within. Unfortunately, as lush or impoverish the surroundings, no matter where you go, there you are and all that means nothing if your emotional well-being is disrupted and depressed thoughts flow through your mind as one discouraging event trips ino the next. Like yesterday, it's over today i can choose to be happy and if I don't whose fault is it then? I wanted to add the steel pan sound as a reminder of the lovely citizens and visiors to the United States Virgin Islands, specifically St. John where I lived for 10 years. Jawge incidentally grew up on St. Thomas but spent his lovely summers on St. John with his family. As a child at 12 he was so accomplished on the steel pan that he was touring with the Mellow Hawks and Sammy Watts two recognized groups on the Virgin Island music circuit. I told Jawge I wanted something "Dynamic, like Johnny Nash, Bob Marley and The Wailers, Ricky Martin, Madonna, Marcia Griffiths, Patti Austin, Lee Ritneour, Dave Grusin, Third World, Stevie Wonder, Rosie Gaines, Anita Baker, Nancy Wilson, Ella Fitzgerald, Julie Andrews, Diana King, Beres Hammond, Joe Higgs, Sista Teedy, Zema, Sista Carol, Barbara Streisand, Patti LaBelle, The Pointer Sisters, The Laws Family, Quincy Jones, Ed Townsend, Dean Fraser, Cuba Gooding and The Main Ingredient, Usher, Herbie Hancock, Everette Harp, Paul Jackson, Jr., Boney James, Yusef Lateef, Sifu, John Hodge, Rising Stars, Al Jarreau, Fully Fullwood, Scientist, The Beatles, Michael Jackson and the Jackson Five their lovely family, Paula Abdul, Arrowsmith, The Who, Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Marvin Gaye, Earth, Wiond and Fire, Carole King, Bonnie Raitt, Taj Mahal, I'm still on Hawaii! Lisen, Hardly ever met a person who didn' love the original and wanted to have a connection between me and EVERYONE in the world. Hey, a girl can dream can't she? All English tracks, instruments (oboe, English horn, guitar (Thanks Lesterfari!), and backing vocals recorded at The Lair, Spanish vocals and backing tracks of the Spanish version, "Puedo Ver Claro" were recorded and mixed at MOLIN MUSIC STUDIOS. Jamaican Patois version, "Hip Hop Hooray Oh" written and performed by Marcia Higgs on lead vocal with Jawge and Anna singing background. Recorded and mixed at MOLIN MUSIC STUDIOS and also mixed at ORGEN STUDIOS. Rhythm tracks were created by Jawge at ORGEN STUDIOS in Compton and at MOLIN MUSIC STUDIOS. Mixing was done in all three studios. Mastering and manufacturing was performed by Anna Fisher and Jeff at Quality Clones in Hollywood. I hope you enjoy the track as much as we did recording it! STAY IRIE! Thanks so much! Love you! Anna and the Oboelady Posse

I Can See Clearly Now – Anna Fisher (J.Nash/J.Hughes/A.Fisher) Used by permission from DOVAN MUSIC c 2002 MOLIN MUSIC (ASCAP) I can see clearly now the rain is gone. I can see all obstacles in my way. Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind. It’s gonna be a bright, bright sunshiny day! I think I can make it now the pain is gone. All of the bad feelings have disappeared. Here is that rainbow I’ve been praying for. It’s gonna be a bright, bright sunshiny day! Look all around, there’s nothing but blue skies Look straight ahead, nothing but blue skies…. I can see clearly now the rain is gone. I can see all obstacles in my way. Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind. It’s gonna be a bright, bright sunshiny day! It’s gonna be a bright, bright sunshiny day!
