Story behind the song
I am just amazed by the consumption I see everyday around me, having been to many other countries and seeing other ways of life, it just disgusts me to see such nonchalant waste the is perpetuated by this Americanized belief that we should get everything we want times 2. I hate SUV's and I really f'ing hate Hummer SUV's, they are the height of American arrogance to think we should have something that just wastes so much gas...stoopid. Further, I just felt one day about how I too am complicit in this system, so I wrote about it.
