This one is a mixture of pop, dance, Indian music, and 60's sounds. The lyrics create an analogy between trying to win a woman's heart with traveling through a barren desert.

Welcome. I am Matt Sims, and I wrote and performed the music you are about to hear. I'm primarily a guitarist and a songwriter, so most of the emphasis is on those two aspects. Story behind the song
I was motivated to write this song after watching a few Indian movies and listening to north Indian music.
Lyrics
Her heart is a desert He stood on stoney ground, the sand blew all around, dying of thirst he fell to his knees, no passage could be found, still he knows, water flows somewhere. Her heart is a desert. The search parties came back, no one could find a track, dying of thirst they fell to their knees and vowed to not go back. Still he knows, water flows somewhere. Her heart is a desert. He journeyed day and night, she drew him to her light, every time he came too near, she drifted out of sight. Still he knows, water flows somewhere.
