Story behind the song
Looking back on it i guess its about change (evolution) and it was the first song we wrote when new bassist Dave joined the band last September
Lyrics
Risen Evolution. You didn’t kill me but still I’m no stronger I won’t refuse you telling me you’re higher Nothing worth knowing could ever be taught The rise and end of all thing comes from my start I won’t refuse you, you know what I’ve got Anyone and anything could never be the right way to Be a close friend, or stay until the end Wishing on a dream that could never end in anything Chorus. Why are you fighting when you know what its doing to me? One hour could last forever, I’m just a possibility Why are you fighting when you know its killing me? There’s never a good reason in a phase of misery You didn’t kill me but still I’m no stronger I won’t refuse you telling me you’re higher Nothing worth knowing could ever be taught The rise and end of all thing comes from my start That one day has changed our lives forever I can still see your face and the memories that I will remember You tried too hard, and I will always keep The memories of me growing up, and our time together (Repeat chorus) Lyrics by Sam Loose Music by Kiddy and Tom Loose
