This is a weird fusion of styles. This song has elements of Ambient, Tribal, and New Age / Meditation all rolled together. So turn the volume up and the lights down, and get ready for a mysterious experience!

Hey everyone! Welcome to my SoundClick band page. I'm Evan Barnes, the guy behind Hybrid Sphere, and I'm one of only two monarchs of Spoiler Nation (more to come on that in the futurrrre). I'm still developing my style and learning music theory, so don't be surprised when my style varies from song to song. This music project of mine has been going on since I was about 13 (now I'm 20), so a lot of the music on here is from years ago! My style has changed since then. Regardless, I hope you can find something that pleases you (in whatever way you want) while you're here!

Story behind the song
This song is based on a memory. My friend and I were on a field trip with our school. This was supposed to be "Outdoor Education" time for us, and we were staying at a camp for 3 days. But my friend and I are both lovers of the outdoors, so our teacher let us do whatever we wanted while he helped the others do things like find their way back to the cabins. One day, my friend and I were crashing throught the forest, when we stumbled into a field surrounded by trees. There was a layer of mist in the air that was hovering above the field. At the ends of the field were small hockey goals made of wood. The goals had not been used for a long time, by the looks of them. One the opposite side of the field from us, there was a very old, unused fence that surrounded some very tall plants, of what species, I don't know. My friend left after a minute of looking around, afraid of getting caught and punished for trespassing. I stayed for what felt like an hour, just looking around in wonder. I felt as though I had entered another world, in which I did not belong. This song is based on the feelings given by that place; the feelings of alienation, solitude, unwelcomeness, and, most of all, mystery.
