Hey everyone! Welcome to my SoundClick band page. I'm Evan Barnes, the guy behind Hybrid Sphere, and I'm one of only two monarchs of Spoiler Nation (more to come on that in the futurrrre). I'm still developing my style and learning music theory, so don't be surprised when my style varies from song to song. This music project of mine has been going on since I was about 13 (now I'm 20), so a lot of the music on here is from years ago! My style has changed since then. Regardless, I hope you can find something that pleases you (in whatever way you want) while you're here!

Story behind the song
One boring summer day, I began to reminiss of the year gone by. I had just finished 8th grade, and was remembering all of the things we had done in the year. I remembered when my class went on an outdoor education field trip for 3 days. Then, I remembered my friend and I, crashing through the woods (we were the only ones there), and stumbling out into a dark, misty field. There were two wooden hockey goals and then end of the small field. On the other side of the field was a tall wire and wood fence, enclosing giant bushes of what species I do not know. The wind began to blow, and the solitude ran through me. It had a very mysterious feel. My friend began to head back to camp. I stayed for what felt like an hour, gazing around the field, and feeling the isolation of the place. I felt as though I had reached another world, in which I did not belong. This song was inspired by that memory; the memory of alienation, solitude, and unwelcomeness in a place that might as well have been another world.
