Story behind the song
Another song.Another the play. The play was about Christmas and commercialism. I wrote the music at Christmas and made a little money, just to drive the point home I'd like to say. Truth is I was very lucky to get the work when I did, because without it not only would I have had no money for presents, but I couldn't even pay my bills. I was in a bad state financially through being ripped off by a choreographer I was doing a favour for. Still, it allowed somebody else to do a good deed, by having faith in me, and paying me in advance for some work I was doing. I can't name the good guy because he'd be embarrassed, and I won't name the bad girl, because we all fuck up sometime.
