Story behind the song

Inspired by a friend's sarcastic catchphrase, this song came to me in the shower one morning. By that night, I had the whole thing written and arranged. It then took me a year to find the right dynamic for it. People have told me that this song has helped them through difficult times. I have seen people moved to tears by it. I consider that the greatest complement to my songwriting - that I can touch someone that deeply with my words and music. This song is honesty and compassion and love. Share it with someone who needs it.
