This song is about dying and going to hell. Lol, could I be any more blunt? This is the new version!

It's just me, myself, and I! A band would be nice.... but I could be a single artist too... wherever God leads I guess:)
Hi! My name is Laura Dillon. I'm a singer/songwriter in Tucson, Arizona looking for ears who will listen to the message that I have to share. Most of my songs are centered on Jesus Christ and the Word of God. My goal is to touch people's lives and bless them with the message that God has given me to share. Right now I'm looking for ways to get there, but being a full time college student time and money is tight. But regardless of circumstances, I trust that God will help me and lead me and that His Will will be done!

Story behind the song
I started writing this song in 5th or 6th grade. I came up with the tune while washing the dishes.... lol, back in those days it took me about an hour to wash the dishes!!! It's gone through some transformation over the years, but the tune is the same and so is the chorus except that the orignal was drug drug city instead of fallen city. I can tell you one thing...this song is going to be a hit when I'm done with it. I've known ever since I started working on it. You'll see!!
Lyrics
Updated Version!! FALLEN CITY (c)2004 Words and Music by Laura Dillon Hell is not a play house It's quite real my friend Laugh it up now You won't be laughing in the end If you could only see The tortured faces of regret If you could only taste the pain The blood, the tears, and the sweat. Chorus: Well, hell’s a fallen city Oh what a pity yeah yeah (Uh uh uhah...) Well, hell’s a fallen city Oh what a pity yeah yeah Well there are people all around Yeah they just can’t beat this world They're falling down Into graves they've spent their lives digging yeah And they can’t escape Any direction they could take Staring death in the eyes They’re out of time They don’t know They’ve fallen! (And they'll meet me in this place...) Chorus: Well, hell’s a fallen city Oh what a pity yeah yeah (That's where they're going) Well, hell’s a fallen city Oh what a pity yeah yeah Chorus: Well, hell’s a fallen city Oh what a pity yeah yeah (That's where I'm going) Well, hell’s a fallen city Oh what a pity yeah yeah I smell the fire I hear the cries The voice of God thundering tonight And as I walk to judgement I see His face I know I’m going To THAT place Chorus And as I walk through the gates Those black gates of hell They’re watching Faces, faces, and faces of monsters yeah I’m trapped in this place And they’re closing in on me And as I look into their eyes I see my reflection And I scream I’m a monster! Chorus You can cry for salvation But hell’s your destination It’s too late to change your mind Once you stand before His thrown There’s no time to atone for your sins Yeah! Chorus: Well, hell’s a fallen city Oh what a pity yeah yeah (Look at the choice you made) Well, hell’s a fallen city Oh what a pity yeah yeah Chorus
