A song about being afraid of the future that I wrote the day before I went to college.

Artist picture
A solo punk band with songs ranging from politics to social issues to evolutionary biology.
Lacking any real musical talent, I decided to use Punk-o-Matic to create some generic punk backgrounds to the various songs I had written. Recorded at low quality through a computer microphone, the songs are not musical masterpieces but the lyrics are still strong. Give it a listen, you might enjoy it.

Lyrics
A magic mirror exists inside my room Its reflection a premonition of what comes soon Revealing the secrets of what will soon be Functioning amidst scientific mystery From whence did this magic mirror come? Can it be trusted in the hands of anyone? Sinister its glare Do I even dare To trust what I see there? Is this really how I’ll fare? I try in vain to deny its predictions Yet they’re as steady as my convictions Never deviating from the image it portrays I’m a slave to its cruel fate day after day after day Perplexed how no discontinuities arise I hate this fucking mirror, I plan for its demise So secretly now I must plan how To finally disavow Just tell me how! I operate in darkness, yet I know very well The magic mirror knows I’m delivering it Hell Like an ax-murderer I deliver blow after blow after blow Shards of glass in my hands are badges to show Yet an ominous feeling still resides in the air I’m created a million magic mirrors everywhere! It’s expanded And I’m stranded With glass I’m branded How the fuck do I disband it? The magic mirrors glowing black with malice Flash glimpses of blood dripping from a chalice Thick and velvet, a plasma of cells combined A flood of blood that I know is mine In my final words I curse the damned mirror Armageddon’s come, everyone stay clear! It’s seduction An optic suction In its reduction Comes my destruction!
