Inspiration can hit at the strangest times. Lately I've been inspired by some pretty offbeat memories, experiences, readings and ideas. My hope is that I can blend them with the words in my heart and stake my claim of originality. That being said, this is overflow parking. Here, have a seat.

Story behind the song
Kind of latin-beatish song about a girl who's spirit is too huge for her surroundings, yet she traps herself in them anyways. It will end up being a band track, but for now it goes here. The lyrics will face massive revision before any serious take of it is laid down. Await the congas.
Lyrics
Sarah All good children want salvation But Sarah thinks it through She recognizes her impatience And wraps it up in blue (Sarah) There’s a man in the corner waiting for you (Sarah) Open arms can be misconstrued I concede there is nothing I can do So I’m cutting a short path to you Some young ones are like sunflowers Trampled in the dirt But Sarah’s got her perfect smile To guide and reassert (Sarah) Medicine won’t cure the disease (Sarah) As soon as you speak there’s wind in the trees And when she takes a walk around her room She’s walking around the world Taken on another starlight tour “Show me where the red fern grows.” She’s never lived a life that pure And I guess that it still shows (Sarah) There’s a man in the corner waiting for you (Sarah) You realize now what you’ve got to do
