Joe wrote this song while reminding himself that people, no matter how hard you try will try to stereotype you, especially if your different from them, but the stereotypes are often untrue, not every "metal kid" wants to kill people and break shit. This song is about a guy who can't deal with the way people make him feel and be starts to believe the things people say about him, and loses sight of who he really is.
