Rabid Thought (the Poet) aka Thought Form (the Producer) aka Rhetoric (the Emcee) aka Johnny Hot Lix (the Musician) was born John Benjamin Warner on Friday May 13th, 1977 in the small rural town of Camden, Maine. A trained pianist, and percussionist much of his youth was spent behind a kit in various studios and garages. Playing for a variety of bands in genres from jazz/blues/rock, to hardcore & metal, to ska & reage. Giving up on his music career aspirations his senior year in high school he defected to the dark side and enrolled in the Information Technology program at Rochester Institute of Technology in New York. His time spent there though a huge waste of time and money did bring him to be as one with his computer, and this began to open his eyes to its music production potentials. After dropping out of college fate brought him to the mountain town of Durango, Colorado. It was here that Da Funky Allstars were given life ... the ten piece funk/rock/hip-hop group fell as fast as they rose but it brought two hungry artists together. Thus was Sayonx born ... http://www.soundclick.com/sayonx/ ... Koolie Blue from Raleigh, North Carolina proved to be a driving force, inspiring John to hone his newely found emcee skills as well as to begin his career as a producer.
