Kind of synth rock with sequenced guitars backing up the main melody. It's about one of my schools, sort of...

Page Fortysix is a one-man electronica project currently experimenting with digital music production via personal computer. I'm totally bipolar.
Page Fortysix is the name of a kind of music that you'll never hear anywhere else. Predominantly electronic, but filled with the uncertain jelly center of a soul experimental and random in its direction. Guaranteed, you'll hear what you want to hear, but every song is different, every recording, whatever length or style or form of delivery, is an equal expression of some component of a boy with a deep desire to be expressed.

Story behind the song
This song is mostly about some average, archetypal kid's general experiences with school as he enters Marquette University High and finally finds a bit of purpose to his life (Note: the part about finally finding purpose really isn't in the lyrics at all, but it's supposed to be). The second verse, by the way, came about three months after the first one, while the music itself preceeded it all by about five.
Lyrics
[intro] The mind Seems weak The moment you start looking at Everyone around And meet The people That haven't got a clue Ohhh; [v1] Weeks You bide And feel like you're going in circles With no Sure goal Acquiescently notice the day Youth In instance Beyond any meas'rable moment Living In circles Seven AM everyday [ref. (it's in Latin, if you're wondering)] Ad majorem Dei gloriam Ad majorem Dei gloriam [v2] Blessed And loved Some but not others believing Hate [fate in the recording, oops] And kindness Mixed in a necess'ry way [ref. repeats thrice now instead of twice] [After the bridge, on the lead out, there are some various adlibbed syllables I shan't bother to record here.]
