hi! my name is julie roth. i'm 18 years old and i am a freshman at the university of dayton. a few summers ago i decided to pick up a guitar out of sheer boredom. five years later, i can't put it down. i instantly began to write my own songs, and in 2003 i recorded my first ep. i started off playing a lot for my church and local churches around napoleon, oh. the last few years have brought me some great musical opportunities. i have been playing at ohio university's frontroom pretty regularly. in august of 2004, i was taped for an internationally-aired video show called contact 29:18. playing several times at union perk in hillsdale, michigan, i have opened up for angela josehpine, david turner, and cliff millimen. in 2004 my first full length cd, "imperfect obessions" was finished. hopefully the year ahead will bring more shows more opportunities, and a new cd... so please keep checking back for updates!
