Story behind the song
My wife was telling me about a time when she was a young girl and she was walking home on a Christmas eve as the snow was falling. She was filled with happiness and joy that the time of year naturally brings. As she came walking over the hill she could see that the fireplace in her house was burning with her Mom and Dad sitting around it. I tried to capture that feeling in this song.
