“TRUE”
Jeff's mellow trumpet and flugelhorn will take you places, make you smile, and maybe even cry a little... ************************************************* "Every once in a while, you’ve got to take a chance. This music has been inside and a part of me ever since I started playing the trumpet at the age of eight. What brought it to life was the mad impulse to send an email to someone I’d never met but had always admired. In reaching out to Will Ackerman, I found a friend as well as an artist deeply committed to excellence and beauty. These songs are a beginning. After four decades of horn playing, it’s about time. I love what we’ve created here. As you listen, imagine what’s possible if you ask for what you want. " Jeff Oster - Alameda, CA.

A REVIEW OF BEHIND THE VEIL BY RAVEMASTER (Soundclick Member) Hello Another great song by an amazing artist I turn off the lights and stare into the globe As the music starts My trip is revealed to me I am going " East “Behind the Veil” I hear a woman's voice say to me.. Are you here? She wants me to follow her.. We walk down the streets of her town Life seems closed and strained in this community. She turns her head to see if I am still following her. I can now see into her eyes I see a great dispair. As she walks down the street I notice her head is mostly held downward Some people stop and say rather rude things to her. We aproach a small house and she turns and says. Come in, please. I sit down at the kitchen table. She starts to laugh and says Are you ready. I ask her..ready for what? She reaches up to her face and starts removing the Veil that covers her entire body. She says to me..I just want to be myself. She has nothing on under the veil. Revealing one of the hottest women I have ever seen. At this point I am thinking When she closes her front door she is no longer closed or strained She becomes her true self. A woman wanting only love and respect and the right to do her own will. She realizes I am staring at the front door and she laughs wildly as she now looks at the door and then she says... I am waiting. Then looks at me and says, "But not for you," as she extends her hand. Thanks Jeff Is not an easy thing to do to make a song about the treatment of people and how wrong we can be when we don't know them. Fantastic as always a 10 for sure.
