After listening to a lot of Elliott Smith I always get something that sounds like this. Man I loved his music. :(

catchy rock??? Listen for yourself.
Welcome, there isn't much to say that would make you understand what I do better than just letting you know who I am, which is Jay. I'm the kind of guy who would rather stay inside and write then go outside and play, forever. I'm the kind of guy who falls in love with almost everything, finds it hard to capture it all in a song so has to keep on going. I may be wrong but for me, a good songwriter can't be one that sits back and smells the coffee and relaxes, a real songwriter is basically (in a nice way) tormented by creation, and that is me.

Story behind the song
I know a lonely man named Edward, he's a good guy...he's older. I befriended the guy while working at CDplus. This song is and isn't about him. The Mr. Brown I know has a house, friends, food and does not sleep in alleys. The Mr. Brown in this song is homeless and doesn't have a family. It's also a song about how we take things for granted, some people when they have so little appreciate the big things. When all you have is big things how can you appreciate the little? We've all been a Mr. Brown at one time or other really.
Lyrics
Mr. Brown is so unstable Storms the outer wall in search for more recruits finds a lonely picnic table dogs and cats are licking sunshine off his boots Mr. Brown stands on the corner He can feel the wind but not know where it goes kinda like the state that I'm in he's a lost man in the city but he's wandering the road he chose find him and his secrets inside an alleyway waiting for the day someday thinking he might win what you're giving up isn't giving in Oooo Oooo Mr. Brown is in the trashcan searching for much more than he needs to survive can you hear him when he mumbles I wonder what he thinks of all the happiness we choose to hide Mr. Brown, it's almost over soon the tide will rise and sweep you out to sea you'll be laughing in the clover so much more to walking circles in the lonliness of all you've seen Mr. Brown is so unstable Mr. Brown stands on the corner Mr. Brown is on the TV Mr. Brown it's almost over Mr. Brown is in the trashcan Mr. Brown's takin your order Mr. Brown is in the office Mr. Brown it's almost over
