Story behind the song
I wrote this song after an argument, in which my attempts to say that the victims on 9/11 aren't the only innocents we should mourn was misinterpreted as "excusing terrorism". I thought a song might make my point more clearly.
Lyrics
1. All those people in New York shouldn't have died, shouldn't have died. When I heard that bad news Oh, I cried You know I cried. It was wrong, so wrong The hurt lasts long, so long. All those people, all those people, shouldn't have died, shouldn't have died. 2. All those people, in Kabul... 3. All those people, in D.C.... 4.All those people, in Bagdhad... (Bridge:) All those people in Jerusalem All those people in Kosovo All those people in Oklahoma City All those people in Soweto All those people in Santiago All those people in Hiroshima All those people in Auschwitz All those people at Wounded Knee 1. All those people, in New York...
