Out of the blue, I felt moved to do a little chanting as I played my acoustic. It snowballed from there and took on a tribal feel so I added flute, percussion and other world music sounds.

Songwriter and composer of atmospheric mood music for the heart and soul
I started out on drums when I was around 13 years old. At age 21 in '96, I taught myself guitar. Since then I've been writing and recording my own songs non-stop. I went from writing, recording and performing heavy metal music in my younger days to doing the same with acoustic folk songs when I got a little older and a couple years ago, I got into keyboard-related music. For the last couple of years, I've been writing a lot of keyboard instrumentals, sometimes adding vocals over top, and find myself growing both musically and spiritually through them. I love the great outdoors and like camping in the woods, trips to the ocean, and boating on the Mississippi River. These experiences are reflected in a lot of my music.
