well we're a bit to broke to travel
but we wanted to take a break
so we both got a few days off to spend
some time down at the lake
plan ourselves a back porch barbeque
for every single night
fix up the yard and play guitar
on the lawn in the sunset's light
but it's the same week that the sun took a summer vacation
still i think we can make the best of this situation
since the sun sleeps in in a bed of clouds why can't we do the same?
