I live in East Texas where I own a recording studio and operate a small independent record label. I produce and engineer all styles of music from Country to R&B to Rap. I write songs in several styles also, mainly Country, R&B, Gospel, and my own style of Rock. I believe that all genres of music have something worthwhile and relevant to add to our lives, and that there is no such thing as a good or bad style - only good and bad songs. I play guitar, sax, keys, and harmonica, and I am by no means a virtuoso on any of them. I play decent enough to get it right eventually, but when I have the choice I prefer to let someone else do in an hour what would take me 3 hours to get it good enough to go on an album. My real talents are songwriting, producing, and engineering. they are also my passion. I also do freelance acoustical consulting for individuals building their own studios, schools, nightclubs, businesses, and churches who need help with their sound issues.

Story behind the song
I wanted to try to give a synopsis that combined the old and the new states of Godlessness in the world. We are all the same - each one of us falls short.
Lyrics
Forboding tone in a minor key. Contemporary Christian Rock. Leaving Sodom Behind On the day that Sodom fell The world got its first taste of Hell. Lot had tried, but he had failed To make them see. Almighty God sent forth the call, And when the fire began to fall He told Lot "Take your family, And leave." BUILD: They didn't know the power of the Lord Till they were shown the swiftness of the sword. When the fire died down, There was nothing left but ashes. CHORUS: Death comes quick for the wicked man. The swiftest justice comes from God's own hand. Turn and don't look back again When you're leaving Sodom behind. Vs2: The year was 1941, There was wailing in Jerusalem. The slaughter of the Chosen Ones - The prophesy made true. Driven by insanity And hatred for Humanity, The plan was to exterminate The Jew. BUILD: They didn't know the power of the Lord Till they were shown the swiftness of the sword. When the fire died down, There was nothing left but ashes. CHORUS: Death comes quick for the wicked man. The swiftest justice comes from God's own hand. Turn and don't look back again When you're leaving Sodom behind. Vs3: A teenage mother holds her son, And sticks a needle in her arm. And wonders when the morning comes Where they'll find food to eat. In this new millennium, Oh my God, what have we done? Shunned the Father, scorned the Son, And slain Him in the street. BUILD: Still don't know the power of the Lord, Will we be shown the swiftness of the sword? When the fire dies down, Will we all be ashes? Yeah, yeah, yeah - CHORUS: Death comes quick for the wicked man. The swiftest justice comes from God's own hand. Turn and don't look back again When you're leaving Sodom behind. TAG: We're still leaving Sodom... Behind.
