This came to me one afternoon while I was in bed, bordering consciousness. I kinda had an image of myself sleeping on a cloud, up really high. Stupid story, I guess, but that's pretty much how it happened.
There was also some inspiration from me playing the Whitewolf RPG Changeling: The Dreaming.
