He also played all instruments and vocals on all songs, except on the album (produced by the African American producer Forrest Thomas) and on the Dutch song 'Doe Maar Multicultureel'. In these songs, Doc Jazz collaborated with prominent professionals from the Dutch jazz and fusion scene. His music can be found in a wide variety of styles ranging from piano ballads to funky music with a groove and with a taste of Doc Jazz's characteristic rock guitar solos (and on 'Front Door Key' the mesmerizing saxophone solos of Susanne Alt) - in three languages:. A Palestinian short shepherd's flute called the is also often featured in the songs. One last note: don't assume the music of Doc Jazz is only political! If you scroll through the vast collection of songs, you will find many songs about other subjects of love, and of life!

Lyrics
I never thought that this love could happen I'd never dreamed there was someone like you But now that you're here I can see it's forever I've got the power and it's all for you Whatever it takes I'll be right here by your side For life I'm not a man who's afraid of decisions But I take a chance when I know that it's right Your mysterious eyes have shown me a vision Without even knowing they've changed my whole life What a difference it makes when you're right here by my side For life Chorus: I'm waiting and calling and still anticipating The life I'll be building with you Whenever I see you I never wanna leave you I'll always be waiting for you The feeling keeps growing and always keeps me going It's making me feel so alive I know that it shows that it's always gonna grow and that love is the reason for life I want you to know that you're all that I care for and that I believe in this love I'll always be there, good times and bad times I'll be your best friend for the rest of my life _ I have a dream and you're right there in it I can make it come true if you show me the way You are a lady in all your expressions A Queen among queens and I want you to stay Whatever it takes I'll be right here by your side For life Beautiful lady, don't worry, don't worry Cause everything 's gonna work out alright If it takes the strength of a thirty-ton lorry I've got the power cause I know it's right What a difference it makes when you're right here by my side For life Copyright © 1994, Doc Jazz
