Loud percussion heavy trance tune with a killer breakdown and vocal-driven buildup! It climaxes with a chaotic driving rhythm, flangy drums, evil sounding synth strings & mellotrons & pounding bassline! THIS ROCKS!

Original electronic music without boundaries. Drum & Bass, experimental, ambient, dance music...In a city full of hip hop sheep, its good to hear something dif
I am an original musician from Orlando FL trying to expand the boundaries of electronic music. I got big into the dance music thing back in the early / mid-90s when I first started going to the all night raves. I've been fascinated with technology and computers ever since I was a little kid, I've also been big into complex, emotional music, so the two worlds collided when I was introduced to progressive / UK house / trance back then. I bought some turntables, started mixing up some records, and got bored with playing other peoples' music, so I started getting into trackers, sequences, early freeWare / shareWare apps, and it just grew from there. The Active Ingredient sound has jumped around from house, trance, experimental, ambient, and recently getting into lots of drum & bass production. I've been making songs since 98 and would like to get some feedback from the public since the radio stations and record labels won't give me any, hopefully you guys out there will like some of it.

Story behind the song
I wanted to do a trance tune that fit the standard breakdown-massive-buildup-to-mega-climax structure with choppy vocals. Back when I did this in 2000, it was the tail end of the massive trance rave thing down here in Orlando, this style was massive in the clubs. This was just before the rave thing got so over the top, it just completely CRASHED and whats left of trance is cheesy redo's of 80s pop songs with beats over top of it. Caught the wave before it died!
