Icons of Poundland

Welcome to the world of icons of poundland. Icons of Poundland are a band, formed in Manchester, England around the turn of the century. Our music is a kind of folk-punk-skiffle which is sung and played on guitars, harmonicas, banjos, fuzz boxes, drums, tea chests and things bought from charity shops. We have played all sorts of gigs, including Glastonbury Festival 2004, and members of the band have played on and produced records for many well known artists around the north-west. There are two albums "Icons of Poundland" and "The World of Icons of Poundland" which we sell at gigs and around pubs for 1 each. Because we may not be able to make it to your local, both albums are available to download. Please help yourself to a copy, and feel free to copy tracks.
