Story behind the song

I was (and currently am) in the middle of producing an album for a friend (BrassWell's "Too Deep for the Shallow End"), when this song just popped into my head. I immediately opened up a blank template, and went to work.

(I got the title from an episode of "Sealab 2021"...it basically means an apparition of another person [german])
