Lyrics
I took myself out today broke the bondage of heat and pain. I wasn’t bad company but was quiet like a shy date. Myself and I went to a movie sad and hopeful, like life where nothing stays on course and we experience everything. We went to a mall so filled with kids we could hardly move happy people experiencing life with toys on marble floors people with hands to hold kids with mothers, families couples, people under 70 needing illusion reinforcement such as life is forever but the earth wears out and we are all innocent marauders God this and God that and church makes us pure. I came in through Monkey Rock where there were no monkeys and the rocks were man made. I ordered a Coke at a bar in a children’s game room. The tender wouldn’t take my money but I left her five dollars anyway. I will exit through the entrance where yin yang and karma are everywhere both instant and overdue just like mystical tear drops that dry in the rain with intimate wind that kisses and tousles the hair like a lover. We’re all searching for the ultimate forgetting death is it or because of it. Pain forces observation. Our date was silently intriguing. We’ll see us again.
