I Love PIANOS, Acoustic and Digital. ORGANS, old style Electronic Organs that involve Two Hands and Two Feet!
Making Music the old way . . . with real tactile Instruments that I feel are part of me. I first started playing piano for money at age 14. My first organ adventures aged 25. Have worked Ballet and Stage School, Manchester Clubs UK, Small Bands, 5 Star Hotels as Pianist and Bandleader, Holiday Companies in UK - mainly Pontins Holidays at it's heyday, Weddings at Prestige Venues. All of this before age 31. FAVOURITE - PIANO OR ORGAN? Without hesitation - Piano. But electronic organs in 2025 are not popular in the Western World - and even if they were, are just big sequencer keyboards in my opinion. I like using bass pedals and creating the best I can through basic early electronic organ formats. The Hammond Tonewheels were lovely. An organ with moving parts fed into a speaker (called Leslie) with rotating motion - either Vibrato or Chorale. Such outstanding memories but not practical for me nowadays. I have a Panasonic (marketed under the name Technics). This one is a 1991 GN9 in remarkable condition. Last word on Organs . . . the Gulbransen make (long defunct) was also really special. Then guess what? A complete switch over to Magic, and allied Arts such as Cabaret Puppetry (3 foot Marionettes). Once again Prestige venues, 1000s and 1000s of Private Engagements. Holiday Companies - mainly Haven Holidays and Bourne Leisure - all alongside my wife Susan. Have had top write-ups in The Stage and TV Newspaper, London both on Music and Magic. Always made good money, had a comfortable life - brought up kids. Any regrets? yes, sure, - but I/we always performed in an honest, hard working and professional manner, and were rewarded for doing so. Tony and wife Sue - 22/12/2025.
