Artist picture
20 years deep in the craft - raw bars, real stories, and soul-driven hip-hop straight from the hills of West Virginia
I’m an underground rapper from Morgantown, WV, and I’ve been rapping, writing, and producing albums for over 20 years. My name’s a throwback to hip-hop’s roots when "def" meant excellent and an MC was more than just a rapper; he was a storyteller and a presence. My sound draws inspiration from East Coast artists like Nas, A Tribe Called Quest, and Lupe Fiasco. At the end of the day, I’m just here to make meaningful music that cuts through the noise and tells my story.

Lyrics
Seek Jesus? That's a pretense No miracles that we've seen since How's that fair? That's a tough break We weren't there, so we lost faith Now the world spins, world ends, worldwide pandemic History, it's a harsh critic Future youth, they just won’t get it Ashes, trashes, dust, rust Corroded batteries, dirty gloves Worst of all is eroded trust Anxieties, we froze up, we failed to act Ice thawed from that cap, and we all got holed up We cave people, cage people, whole machine just enrage people Facebook, go engage people Sold us out to some paid people, so they evil Regulation came late, hit rivals all unequal Here we are, give us more, scrolling feeds of that poison That kills free-thinking-minded thought and eliminates our choices
