Artist picture
20 years deep in the craft - raw bars, real stories, and soul-driven hip-hop straight from the hills of West Virginia
I’m an underground rapper from Morgantown, WV, and I’ve been rapping, writing, and producing albums for over 20 years. My name’s a throwback to hip-hop’s roots when "def" meant excellent and an MC was more than just a rapper; he was a storyteller and a presence. My sound draws inspiration from East Coast artists like Nas, A Tribe Called Quest, and Lupe Fiasco. At the end of the day, I’m just here to make meaningful music that cuts through the noise and tells my story.

Lyrics
Drawing lines in the sand, we fight to the last man I’m sticking you up in raps with bars and ad-libs I’ma stone throw’s away from busting a mad riff And kill it - cataclysm - sacrosanct when I spit Sacra stay tingling, rhymes intermingling I’m Def MC, I spit them in HD Then spit shine CDs, can’t skip my beats No presets for me 'cause my flows unique And content IDs could never pin down me Major labels wanna speak, but me, I’m indie The kinda lines I spit put them at ill ease But I know my bars hittin' with all of these rap geeks While the new school garbage end up at the trash heap Recycle every flow and stick with the new thing Distribution for it can’t get up the view streams That’s a power play for Def, I rep in the booth clean
