Don’t go where you are unsafe
Keep it all hidden in your haste
You can feel it deep in your waif
I know you knew the candy was laced
Look up cause it will hold you down
A smile cause they can see you on the ground
You see your smile turn down to a frown

You wonder why I’ve been erratic?
It’s this static that’s got me emphatic
I’ve seen you burn the heretic
And believe me it’ll make you sick
Long, long will your candle burn on the wick
The history is deep and thick
For some it’s just a casual quip
But it’s got my attention like a form grip
I believe high in the sky
So firmly that I could easily cry
I see all the carelessness pass by
All I can do is wonder, wonder why
