We are OMNITROCY, a death metal band from Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
Omnitrocy is a brutal/tech death metal band, founded in the summer of 2019, in Cluj-Napoca, by its original members, namely George (drums), Vladimir (guitar), Silviu (bass) and Ionuț (vocals). Silviu (bass) left the band in 2024, being replaced by Rares, in 2025. At the core of its musical concept lies the propensity towards introspection and dissection of the human psyche with the tools offered by the artistic field, but also the passion for extreme metal. Their sources of inspiration are concepts from the spheres of philosophy and psychology, such as specious present, Ego Depletion, God of the Gaps as a source of knowledge out of ignorance and solipsism as the only real instance of human psychological existence and so on.

Story behind the song
Waste of Life by Omnitrocy is a descent into despair, where existence is seen not as a gift but as a burden eroded by endless struggle. The refrain Through a wasted life, I kneel sets the tone of resignation and defeat, as the narrator reflects on a life consumed by futility. Portals and collapsing worlds mark the passage between stages of existence, evoking apocalyptic imagery of decay and fragility. The narrator confronts their own morality, torn between selfish desires and the recognition of failure. Even so, a desperate will to fight remains: For your wasted life I fight endlessly, For my wasted life I fight again and again! a paradox of resistance against inevitable nothingness. But the struggle grows hopeless. Exhaustion replaces hope, and the cycle of fighting without resolution grinds the self into dust. The final realization strikes with devastating force: In the end I am the one who lost Waste of life! The song closes not with redemption, but with surrender, an existential anthem of defeat, futility, and the bitter acknowledgment of a life squandered.
