Martin Etheridge has more talent in his little finger than I have in total, so I am very grateful to him for helping me make this one of my personal favourites. Amy's angelic voice is the icing on the cake....thankyou both so much
piano singer lyricist
English lyricist working with dozens of composers and artists
I am a lyricist working with many composers and artists around the world and most frequently with 2 guys, Juri Rosenfeld and Mark Ellis who, although their styles are entirely different, are both extremely talented as musicians and composers, as well as producers. Along with these two, with whom I have written more than 50 songs....I have been most fortunate to collaborate with so many others that the list is almost endless but two very talented ladies spring to mind: Dawn Diamond and Amy Caldwell, who have not only both composed for my words but have also both are possessed of beautiful voices and have sung many, many times on songs I have written. There is no ONE genre I write for, since a lyricist has to be able to write for ANY category and I do, but one thing I try to be always, is honest in my work because when there is integrity, there is a way to relate to the song and if occasionally I meander into the poetic, it is because I am and always have been, since the age of 13 years, a poet...but that doesn't mean everything I write is flowery or full of metaphors...as I say, I strive always to be real and of course, most importantly, to be as unique as possible.

Lyrics
I Dont Believe in Angels by Dawn Sinclair Listen to the rain does it sympathize with my pain? used to say that every drop of rain was one more angel's tear ...but Now my eyes are open wider Now my heart has turned into ice Love's gone -desolation fills the unforgiving space Now I don't believe that angels are watching over me And I don't believe a pure soul could hurt so carelessly No I don't believe in angels I'm speaking honestly There's nothing here but tiny shards of gullibility interlude 2.09 Listen to the rain Every drop a wistful refrain Poets say when lovers cry thats when An angel falls to Earth ...but Now my eyes can see quite clearly Im no longer blind to the truth Love's gone... leaving nothing in its unforgiving wake Now I don't believe that angels Were listening to me And I don't believe a guardian would just ignore my plea No I don't believe in angels I'm speaking honestly There's nothing here but tiny shards of gullibility And if love knocks I wont be taken in so easily listen to the rain listen to the rain
