At five months, a heart transplant. At twelve years, heart failure and a second transplant. At nineteen, stage four cancer. And that's not the half of it. Discover music that embraces love despite hardship, joy over pain and peace amidst chaos. Each song I write comes from a well of memories and emotion deep inside me, spurred by the events, people, and music that have inspired me the most. I started playing violin and piano in elementary school, and by middle school I was composing, performing and recording my own simple songs. Ever since, I've had an undying love affair with the world of sounds. Now, at nineteen years old, I offer a few of my songs to you. They're not professional, they're not perfect - they're simply me; Morgan Nicole. Take it or leave it.

Story behind the song
A song about the acceptance of all of life's phases, twists, and turns.
Lyrics
High in the summer trees I was happy and green I had the whole world at my feet But as the days went by There came a chill in the air The changing colors everywhere Now as we fall like autumn leaves Red and gold I don't believe There any need to fear this fate Everything dies, everything fades Riding gently on the wind Thinking 'bout how all this ends We each become something bright and new Evening rain becomes morning dew Now as we fall like autumn leaves Red and gold I don't believe There any need to fear this fate Everything dies, everything fades Now as we fall like autumn leaves Red and gold I don't believe There any need to fear this fate Everything dies, everything fades
