A Band in a Box, to put it simply.
Topher (Chris Harper) has been playing music since the age of 12, when he picked up his mom's old bass and started learning Blink-182 songs. In may of 2001, he got his first guitar. He picked it up quick, - probably because he'd always played bass like a guitar, - and eventually got better. While talent was becoming a factor in his playing, he bought more guitars and tried to experiment with different sounds, initially arriving at blends of emo, hardcore, and alternative. As for the demo CD soon to be available locally and on the internet, Topher stuck to more of the emotional feel, with hints of mainstream-sounding rock, and hardcore.

Story behind the song
I wrote this the day before my birthday (The lyrics, at least). I tuned my guitar to some weird tuning and wrote the main guitar part and recorded it, then I recorded the second guitar as sort of a lead/fills thing, and I went back later and started recording more and more until it became a full song, which wasn't really intended.
Lyrics
It's not so easy feeling like you're all alone. Hating everyone. Trying to deal with everything. Sitting, waiting, hoping, hating. Wishing, crying, killing, dying. No one sees the pain in me. Or else they just don't care. I don't get it. It's just not fair. Everything I dreamt about you... Everything is gone, I know. Slowly feeling my heart breaking into to pieces on your floor.
