The lyrics of the song NEW CREATION are words that all born again Believers of Christ Jesus can rightfully confess, profess, and declare, because of the redemptive finished works of the virgin born, life, death, burial, and resurrection of our Revelation 1:5, Savior and LORD, also known as Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
2 Corinthians 5:17, "...If anyone is in Christ, that person is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new..."
As inheritors and proclaimers of the finished works of the Cross of Calvary, through Christ Jesus, Apostle Paul admonishes, according to Romans 12:1-3, "...And so, dear Brothers and Sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to GOD because of all He has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice the kind He will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship Him. Dont copy the behavior and customs of this World, but let GOD transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know GODS will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect."
Apostle Paul goes on to specify the nature, lifestyle, and character traits of those who are "not" led by the Holy Ghost. It is written according to Galatians 5:19-21(KJV), "...When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: Adultery, Fornication, Uncleanness, Lasciviousness, Idolatry, Witchcraft, Hatred, Variance, Emulations, Wrath, Strife, Seditions, Heresies, Envyings, Murders, Drunkenness, Revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the Kingdom of GOD.
Romans 14:17, "...The Kingdom of GOD is Righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost..."
As inheritors of the Kingdom of GOD, Paul admonished, instead of fulfilling the desires of the old Galatians 5:19-21 sinful nature, rather represent Christ's nature and lifestyle. It is according to Galatians 5:22-26, "...Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-Control. There is no law against these things! Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to His cross and crucified them there. Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirits leading in every part of our lives. Let us not become conceited, or provoke one another, or be jealous of one another."
Romans 8:14, "...all who are led by the Spirit of GOD are children of GOD."
1 Corinthians 15:58, "...Brothers and Sisters in Christ, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of The LORD, knowing that your labor is not in vain in The LORD."
Philippians 1:6(NLT), "...And I am certain that GOD, who began the good work within you, will continue His work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns."
