I remember frantically dancing to this as a kid. I loved the NO NO NO lines and the strange vocal delivery. I completely misunderstood the song though; I thought it was an argument were 'he' loved toast and butter and 'she' loved toast and jam.
These are songs to which I have a sentimental attachment for one reason and another.
Anyone who loves music had songs or instrumentals which influenced him or her, that began the love affair with music. The songs on this page are all songs that have been important to me at different times in my life. How many songs the page contains will depend largely on time. I'm always writing new tracks, so these will occur when they become insistent, or when I'm lacking new song inspiration.

Story behind the song
My story is that I remember loving to scream the lyrics and dance like a dervish. I changed the lyrics to this one in a number of ways. I hope know one is offended. :D

Lyrics
Ah, he likes bread and butter
Ah, he likes toast and jam
And, that's what baby feeds him
'Cause, he's her loving man
Well, I like bread and butter
I like toast and jam
That's what baby feeds me
'Cause I'm her loving man
Ah, he likes bread and butter
Ah, he likes toast and jam
That's what baby feeds him
Ah, he's her loving man
Well, she don't cook mashed potatoes
She don't cook T-bone steak
Don't feed me peanut butter
She knows what I'll take
Ah, he likes bread and butter
Ah, he likes toast and jam
Ah, that's what baby feeds him
Ah, he's her loving man
Well, I got home one Monday
Much to my surprise
She was eating chicken 'n dumplings
With some other guy
No more bread and butter
Ah, no more toast and jam
He found his baby cheating
Ah, with some other man
No, no, no
No more bread or barley
Ah, only rice and oats,
Now I am a celiac,
So give me some quinoa folks!
No, no, no, no
No more bread and butter
No more toast and jam,
Now I'm wheat intolerant,
Get me some quinoa, man!
