Big Sleep 'was' a duo that comprised of Tony Webster - vocals & lyrics and Myself - all instrumentals, vocals & production etc.. This recording was made on very rudimentary recording equipment into a very early version of the DAW Cool Edit in 2004.

Major Snagg is the invented name of the 'band' that perform all my own musical creations. (songs and instrumentals). I play guitars, bass, rudimentary keyboards, harmonica, and sing. Melody has always been important to me... lyrics and guitar solos have to say or communicate something. I create musical worlds that I hope that you dear listener, will also want to explore and live in for a few moments...or longer if you feel that way inclined.

Story behind the song
We enjoyed the wonderful UK Psychedelic Pop Scene of 1967/8. We were both big Beatles fans. Well, and fans of any band that recorded great psychedelic pop songs during those years. The Pretty Things, Jimmy Hendrix, The Small Faces etc. etc. I've used small fragments of this song ('67') in my Major Snagg instrumental, Eternal Recurrence.
