Story behind the song
This song was composed on 4/18/2022 for the 4/25/2022 BSF children's class. It includes the memory verse for that lesson. It is an excerpt from the account of Jesus' arrest in the Garden of Gethsemane. That event set in motion the most unjust mistreatment of an innocent man in the history of the world. But, it was all part of God's perfect plan to redeem the world from sin. This version of the song contains Elisha Schroeder on the violin.
Lyrics
In that hour Jesus said to the multitudes, "Have you come out, as against a robber,
with swords and clubs to take Me? I daily sat with you, teaching in the temple,
and you did not seize Me. But all this was done that the Scriptures of the prophets
might be fulfilled.” (But all this was done that the Scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled.)
