Poetaster, Revo1 (short for Revolution One Love!), with over an hour of spoken word prose for your listening disaster, dares you to attempt to struggle through
This is merely a slap together poem full of abstracts half written and the rest off the top of the dome. It's a love letter to the world unknowing of my feelings that I hide. Basically, it's letting go and moving beyond what life has given you. For me, personally, this is a love letter to America. Make of it what you will.
Lyrics
Unattractive blatancy find ever the longing
Faint to the feeling where honesty lies
Truth wrong by your mentality
What peace bleeds humanity feasts
With pockets full of empty voices
Without a pen to write with or eyes to express verbally
For what I could not find the words to say
Visually, I lack the ugly
My hiding lips tell little of where I've been
Let alone where I'm taking you
Riding blues for the change you brought me
Yet, all I see is in the color of red
Spilt to the tongue drops the floor
The loss stomachs no heart
Speak up or be left behind
Left for the world of the unfelt
Dragged by feet from past anoid
Hard to the loved ones rest
Seen in unattractive eyes
Pressed to your heart and in all it's emotion
The way you are blinds me
Still I believe in your every word
For all you tell are lies for drowning
And all this time I knew how to swim
The panic sweeps my breath
So, now I sink in the nothing of what's left
Less I move beyond your shadows
To walk a different grave unknowing
