The feeling that our cherished free-thinking society is being overwhelmed by conformity to one way of thinking, and the fear and oppression that accompanies any straying from the "approved" ways of thinking.

The growing uneasiness that freedom of thought and questioning what we are being told by government and their social media mouthpieces is being replaced actively by conformity , and to stray from that conformity carries dire consequences including ostracism and "cancellation".
