I am a musical journeyman, and have been recording (on and off) in a home studio, since about 1988. I experiment with different forms, methods, and styles,
I began to recording on a cassette 4-track (Tascam Porta-One) in 1988, and enjoying the whole process of recording sounds, I then purchased an Atari ST, running Cubase Vs1. I moved on to a digital 8-track in about 1998 (Roland VS-880) and then to a more modern mac setup, which I'm using now. I am a visual artist, as well as a musical experimenter, an dI believe this does inform the way I work.

The Brain Bubble Box If I could store my thoughts, as ones and noughts, in a box I keep in my room, A box that holds the answers, a candle in the gloom, flickering with thoughts, images and words, In a pan dimensional spectrum of colours and shapes, I peer within, and a vortex awaits, I see a field of stars, galaxies unknown, Have I been shunted or have I been thrown? My Brain is like a bubble, maybe its ready to pop? a witness to emerging realms of light, pixelated planets and electronic suns, spinning! I keep my box to myself, my brain bubble box, will remain forever unknown,
