Major Snagg is the invented name of the 'band' that perform all my own musical creations. (songs and instrumentals). I play guitars, bass, rudimentary keyboards, harmonica, and sing. Melody has always been important to me... lyrics and guitar solos have to say or communicate something. I create musical worlds that I hope that you dear listener, will also want to explore and live in for a few moments...or longer if you feel that way inclined.

Story behind the song
A Retro-Modern 'Twangy Guitar' instrumental, with a modern twist... a moderately flashy guitar solo over the 'middle 8', key change. Surf music and this kind of simple melodic guitar playing has always been something I've liked and aspired to create and record. For you guitar nuts out there, I used my fabulous Yamaha Revstar 420 for all the guitar parts and a Crafter Cruiser 'Fender Precision', bass copy. Guitar processing via an old red kidney bean shaped Line 6 Pod. Recorded on a Zoom R-24 recorder. Mixing and mastering via Adobe Audition 1.5

Nice 'TWANG' with an upbeat vibe David, the solid backbeat from the drums have it crossing-over into a bit more of a modern Rock feel, nice Fusion!

You're getting a fantastic sound with your recording gear - very beefy & high quality! Great guitar work, I also love the authenticity you're getting with your drums. Always like the way your guitar work sounds so smooth - interested to know if you use a lot of compression or a phaser? Excellent track!

Oh This Guitar Tremolo Is My Absolute Favorite Guitar Sound! However did you know? You made this just for me, didn't you! I was expecting 1950s Sci Fi Sound Effects with a title like this. The sort of stuff you were doing while I was teaching Elvis to Rock N Roll. He was a good student certainly. Whale taught him to move like that. Looked better when he does it. Yes, no. I wasn't fat when I was younger. But I taught Elvis tomorrow, so it all pans out proper then. By then I'll be ready to teach The BEATLES how to do it. Carry on, Great Fab Work. I love it.
