I write my own songs ;) I have a very diverse taste in music, from Pop to Classical, including Rock, Folk, Jazz, Country, World Music (Celtic, Romanian), Old Timey Stringband/Bluegrass, and Latin. All these styles are in my Christian Contemporary catagory. I usually write the music first, and then put words to the music. Though I don't sing good enough yet, I though I would put my instrumentals out along with my music. Generally, I think my music/lyrics are getting better, being more skilled now than when I started.

Story behind the song
This is at least the third verse song in a row with titles such as "Do Not Be .." or "Don't Be ..". This looks like a pattern. Even through one's own experience, one can grasp the idea that the world is not good in the end. Practical wisdom, learned through the "school of hard knocks", shows that is not good to be conformed to this world. It is not from ourselves that we change, but from outside our world.
