Story behind the song
The perils of a one sided attraction...wanting what you can't have
Lyrics
Her attitude is savage but her heart is gold, raising from her ashes new chapter's unfold So I ask about the sadness I see inside her eyes they can't hide the pain, no vegas lights, and wolf pack gone lonely nights all alone searching for her place I could tell you all the things you want to hear, I could scare you off with just one tear, I could fall so hard, risk this heart if worth the scar and break these wall of fear until we're free and clear I can't even imagine but I want to know what it's like to be her passion that place she calls home Could she understand my madness or even care to try nothing for the faint. Restless nights and broken soul fighting battles all alone with casualties sustained I could tell you all the things you want to hear. I could scare you off with just one tear. I could fall so hard. Risk this heart if worth the scar and break these walls of fear until we're free and clear She's been beautifully broken and Im lost on her stage They promised us Broadway We got Cabaret All the lines never spoken The acts never played The curtain call closes I still remain I could tell you all the things you want to hear. I could scare you off with just one tear. I could fall so hard. Risk this heart if worth the scar and break these walls of fear until we're free and clear

Hope more people hear this song. Really well written. Could relate to the lyrics as I've been there too many times. This song works really well with just an acoustic/vocal arrangement, but I think it would lend itself to full band instrumentation very nicely as well. Great vocals, with just the right edge to them.
