Story behind the song
This is the 'Overture' ...the opening track for my, 'Looking For Lucy', album... call it a 'Concept album' if you like. It's a collection of songs about a girl/woman called Lucy...She's a constant time traveller, Muse, Free spirit, a figment of your imagination...anything you want her to be. Someone once saw her in the sky 'with diamonds'...or did he? she's also a along time friend of Alice ... Lucy was already having fun in Wonderland before Alice got there.

I like the fusion of psychedelic/prog rock elements in this song. Fantastic arrangement, tantalizing stuff that keeps you hooked right to the last note. Brilliantly mixed and produced.

Love concept albums. Which more folks did them today. A lot of today's "albums" (do they even call them that anymore, or is it "collection of audio files on iTunes" now? I was a big fan of Pink Floyd and Styx back in the day and they put out a few concept records that still resonate with me today. The arrangement of this is stellar especially as it's an overture. Production is top notch and very dynamic.
